Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Mission Outreach

Center Road Baptist Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Our church maintains a conservative music program. However, the music at Center Road Baptist is anything but boring or dead. Many church members get involved in our music. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Super Saturday

God’s Word gives us believers a clear command to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to ever creature. We practice this command in two by two groups every Thursday evening at 6pm and Saturday morning at 10:00am.
Each first Saturday of every month, we have Super Saturday at 10:30am. This is a special outreach time where those that are new to spreading the Gospel are encouraged to come and get plugged into this exciting part of the Christian walk with God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain a Facebook for additional church communication.

Bus & Van Routes

There are many people in our area who desire to come worship with us but have no personal means of reliable transportation. Our church runs one 15 passenger van and one bus to pick up men, women, boys and girls for church services. Church members are involved in building these routes by inviting new riders, driving the bus and van and volunteering to help with activities and programs on the routes.

Children’s Ministries

Our church teaches Sunday School classes for all ages. Church members are involved in teaching and helping in these classes as folks, young and old, learn about God and His Word.

We also have a Junior Church program during the 11AM service that is a fun, exciting, song-filled, teaching time from God’s Word geared for ages 4-11.

A nursery for ages 0-3 is available during all services so all of our dads and moms and guardians may enjoy the services.

The children’s ministry workers are well trained at CRBC because the safety, security and well-being of these precious children is just as important as their spiritual instruction
