How Do I Meet People and Learn about God?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church. If this is your first time visiting Center Road Baptist Church, come to the front door of the front building and one of our ushers will be glad to show you which class is right for you.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

Senior Christian Fellowship

Once you become a “Senior”, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Seniors group of Center Road Baptist Church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.
The Senior Christian Fellowship (or “Seniors“, as it is known by those who attend) was started with the idea that fellowship with other Christians is a vital part of life. The word fellowship has a spiritual basis and the indication is that those who have fellowship are in agreement. We have a variety of speakers address our group, but sometime during the short two hours on Thursday morning, a short message from the Word of God is given. We start with a few favorite songs, then we ask someone to share something from a past experience (no one is singled out). Our speaker for the day speaks about 20 minutes. About 20 minutes are left open so that we can talk to each other. Lunch is served at 11:30. We have very tasty meals with all the trimmings. There are no charges or dues, nothing to join everyone, age 50 and up, is welcome. Once in a while, we meet at 10AM and go on a short field trip and have lunch out. Join us next Thursday. You’ll be glad you did!
A basket is available for those who are able to help cover the expenses of the meal and gas for the van.
Please contact the office for transportation – 716-675-6545.
We love our group and it caters to the Seniors in such a beautiful way. God uses people of all ages to bring glory to his Kingdom. If you fall into this group, get connected and enjoy the blessing of fellowshipping with folks that love the Lord.
